- Initiated the standard instruction format, rule grid including rule number set for Japan area of British Airways. This has helped BA and WNS to have clarity instruction and duplication of fares in ATPCo. Also the standardized rules coding has achieved 100% auto pricing of fares in all GDSs.
- Initiated the LEAN – KAIZEN event for reducing rules duplication for Africa region fares of BA. This event has reduced 700 of ATPCo rules to only 200 Rules thus removing fares duplication and extra data cost to BA. This has also helped client to instruct fares with ATPCo rule number to WNS hence WNS need not search for a rule number or create an additional rule.
- It was noticed that BA ATPCo database has fares filed with Airport code against City Code. This against the fare filing concept and leading to no fare display/airport specific pricing in GDSs which is a loss to carrier hence event was initiated to replace airport codes with City codes. This initiative has replaced fare records that amounts to approximately 1 million USD (1,000,000$) in turn saving a carrier from a bigger potential revenue loss.
