PROFESSIONAL SYNOPSIS
- Over 20 years of experience in commercial operations, accounting activities and administration and personnel management.
- Currently working as Sr.Manager Commercial ( ERW plant commercial activities also includes Production Planning) with Maharashtra Seamless Ltd. from 1st May 2011 and additional responsibilities also continue with Hydril Jindal International Pvt. Ltd. (A Joint Venture between TenarisHydril, USA & ,Jindal Group) and handling all plant activities as Commercial, Production, Quality Assurance, Maintenance etc.
- Adept at handling matters related to excise, taxation, transportation and insurance to ensure smooth flow of commercial operations.
- Well versed with accounting systems & procedures with deftness in handling taxation matters.
- Proficient in preparing Store accounts through computerised accounting system using ERP .

AREAS OF EXPERTISE
Commercial & Liaison 
- Handling overall commercial operations viz taxation, financial, store management and upkeep of accounts.
- Negotiating with transporters for timely delivery of goods in cost effective rates.
- Dealing with insurance companies to financially protect the organisation from untimely risks.
- Interfacing with factory labour to ensure settlement of grievances in compliance with various Labour statues.
- the Vetting Commercial terms at pre-order Level.
- Verification of Customer PO with ERP data for the accurate Billing & related Documentation.
- Supervising the issuance of BG, Billing under LC, HSS Agreement, EPCG License, CT3 transactions & coordination with Bank’s.
Accounts
- Supervising the preparation and maintenance of statutory books of accounts viz, journal, ledger, cash book, and subsidiaries in compliance with time and accuracy norms.
- Preparing budgets, ensuring variance between the increase in actual costs and budgets is minimised.
- Preparing statements related to expected return, production and waste, overhead expenses, cash and funds flow, inventory and debtors.
- Preparing tax plans and ensuring timely assessment and filing of direct and indirect tax returns in compliance with income tax and sales tax acts. 
- Regular Visit to corporate office for Debtors / Creditors reconciliation.
- Monitoring Sales Accounting, Customer Reconciliation, Dealer Commission calculation & release of the same.
- Preparing MIS reports to provide feedback to top management on financial. Performance and assist in critical decision making process.
- Controlling debtors and follow up with them for timely payments.
- Doing a feasibility study on the cost of the new project and expansion of existing.
- Responsible for Billing/invoicing, Booking & AR Collection annual Targets in coordination with Marketing, Finance, Production Department. Coordinating & Review of AR Collection 
Personnel & Administration
- Managing attendance, Wage and Salary and PF of employees. 
- Assisting in all administration related activities including Housekeeping, Infrastructure management, facilities planning, security and utmost utilisation of resources.
- Arranging the periodic meetings in company. 
- Documenting and preparing reports on various activities.
Production & Quality 
- Handling production operations in the Factory to ensure timely completion of production targets within pre-designated time and cost parameters.
- Overseeing unit and shop floor operations including activities like build-up premium connection.
- Preparing SOP (standard operating procedures), implementing effective techniques to bring efficiency, improve quality standards and achieve maximum cost savings.
- Maintaining QMS as per standards, ensuring stringent adherence to standards, norms & practices, identifying gaps & taking corrective actions. Monitoring implementation of and adherence to concepts.
- Conducting vendor quality assessments to ensure quality & standards of incoming material.
Maintenance
- Planning and effecting preventive/ predictive/ breakdown maintenance schedules of various machineries and equipments for increasing machine up time/ reliability.
- Proactively identify areas of obstruction/ breakdowns and take steps to rectify the equipments through application of trouble shooting tools.
- Executing cost saving and energy saving techniques/ measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in O&M expenditures and work within the budget.

- Maharashtra Seamless Ltd. is an ISO 9002, API, BVQI & IBR Certified a D.P. Jindal Group of Company. Largest manufacturer of Seamless Steel Pipes & Tubes and ERW Pipes supplying in Oil Sector, Automotive and general engineering industries & Export Market. The annual turnover is Rs.3000 crores and Group Turnover is more than 5000 crores, and strength is more than 2500 employees.
- Since March’06 with Hydril Jindal International Pvt. Ltd. (A Joint Venture between TenarisHydril USA & Maharashtra Seamless Ltd.(Jindal Group ) as Head- Commercial.
The company is a manufacturing and marketing Premium Connections & Pressure Control Products used for Oil & Gas drilling and production. The company’s premium connections are used in drilling environments where extreme pressure, temperature, corrosion and mechanical stresses are encountered, as well as in environmentally sensitive drilling. These harsh drilling conditions are typical for deep-formation, deep-water and horizontal or extended reach wells.
