Scope of work In DFID
Working as a financial Consultant to a 210 Crore DFID funded project in union with GOI called Mahila Samakhya.
- Development and roll out of a Manual for Finance and Accounting 
- Conduct financial trainings in all Mahila Samakhya state offices on  the Manual as well as other matters related to accurate and timely  recording and reporting on FM
- Provide hand holding support to State offices/ Federation/ MS institutions on accounting, FM and MIS matters
- Work out modalities for phasing and withdrawal of the program from identified areas where handing over to Sanghas is envisaged
- Assist and advise National Project Office and State offices on audit  issues including appointment of auditors, dealing with audit  observations and ensuring audit compliance
- Assist and advise NPO and State offices on matters related to procurement procedures
- Carry out analysis and evaluation of various financial reports and  documents including (but not limited to) financial/ MIS reports, audit  reports, post procurement reviews, claims
- Prepare reports/ submissions on documents analyzed

- Financial Consultant to Govt. Of West Bengal, on “State Health Systems  Development Project”. It was a 700 Cr. Project financed by the World  Bank for infrastructure development for setting up of 214 new hospitals  in 18 districts of West Bengal. 
 As a part of the project, handled successfully,
- Fund projection
- Monitoring circulation of fund to 18 districts 
- Ensuring proper utilisation of the fund
- Monitoring collection of the expenditure of all the units
- Compilation of the Accounts of all the units monthly
- Sending Re-imbursement claim to World Bank by 15th of every month, not  a single month could be missed out. Compliance was 100%.
- (Current) Financial Consultant to Govt. of West Bengal on “DFID funded project KUSP (Kolkata Urban Services for the Poor).” 
- Organising and monitoring circulation of fund to 125 urban local  bodies for infrastructural development as well as economic development  of the areas
- Involved in formulation of the local economic development plans

- Coordinating for bank audits; ensuring compliance under various Acts and other Statutory Bodies.
