The Projects handled by G.E.T ranges wide from 11 KV to 400 KV new Substation Construction, Augmentation and Bay Extension.

- Procurement of materials for Construction of 33/11 kV substation works in various districts of Orissa State (Power Grid Corporation of India Limited [PGCIL] 
- Rural Electrification works and Feeder Separation Works various districts of Orissa.
[b]KEY RESPONSIBILITIES [/b]:
- Project planning & Execution
- Procurement.
- Estimation, Planning and preparation of control budget.
- Project Management and co-ordination with site ensuring perfect and timely completion of project.
- Quality Control & Vendor assessment 
[b]Procurement [/b]:
- Floating enquiries to the suppliers based on the client specification and requirements.
- Evaluation of supplier’s quotations, comparison, preliminary negotiation, and order placement.
- Follow-up with supplier for drawing approval and any commercial aspects.
- Close monitoring/ Expediting to ensure timely deliveries.
- Leading a team for procurement of the materials like Power, Distribution, Current & Potential Transformers, VCB, CRP, Safety equipments, Galvanised Steel for RE works & Substation, Hardware items and all other items related to the Project.
[b]Planning [/b]:
- Preparation of monthly sales & collection commitments as per the Management’s requirements.
- Ensure adequate resources available over site to achieve overall project engineering and financial commitments.
- Scheduling site activities on fortnight basis and intimating and same to client.
- Ensuring proper implementation of action plan at site and finding out the barriers in implementation of the plan. 
- Selection of Equipments, sending Quotations for the same and to finalize the order for Equipments.
[b]Roles [/b]: 
- Supervision, control and co-ordination of all activities related to Project Scheduling & Planning and Project Progress measurement & invoicing to client. 
- Maintaining system record of pre tender correspondence, post tender correspondence, project tracking, site work progress, invoicing, material stock statement, scrutinizing drawings, and maintaining record of cash inflow and outflow statement.
- Monitoring of site work and identifying at all times any area of concern (critical path, clashes, early start, lag analysis supplemented with proposed corrective action, timely flagging of lack of resources etc.) 
- Provide assistance to the Project management team for all matters related to Scheduling & Progress Reporting and provide analyses and simulations of new schedules.
- Project planning & preparation of Budget, month wise sales and collection commitments.
- Micro level planning for smoother execution of the project.
- Preparation & submission of L2 network to the client.
- Assessment of vendors by performing quality audit at the vendor premises.
- Expedite the vendors to ensure deliveries on JIT basis.
- Organize and monitor subcontractor activities to make sure project finishes in time.
- Co-ordinate with site engineers for monitoring progress and to solve the problems at the earliest for smooth execution of project.
- Monitor & direct all other project execution activities closely.
- Liaise with the customer for payment.
- Maintaining records & documents as per ISO standards
- Preparation of Material Submittal and Method of Statements for the material and Works.
- Procurement of materials as per the site requirements.
- To Prepare BOQ and ordering of material as per time schedule and sending enquiry for material delivery 
- Negotiating with Sub-Contractor and business associates to finalize the work orders
- Preparing Client request against supplier invoice & submitting to account department.
- Preparing Bill Processing Memo against supplier invoice & submitting to account department for payment.
- Co- ordinate with account department & preparing the request for Letter of credit or PDC to supplier against their invoice.
