Sir,
 I would like to give you a small introduction of myself. I have done my B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Burdwan University and I have completed my Post Graduation in Electrical Power from Calcutta University (Rajabazar Science College). I have my working experience for more than 6 years in Biecco Lawrie Limited. Here I am mainly related with the Application engineering part of Switchgear design but apart from Switchgear design I am also related with Switchgear Testing, Technical problems related Site Visit, Facing Clients` inspection, new product engineering, new project handling and technical help in some marketing activities.

- Involved in in-depth design and drawing of medium voltage switchgears and various customer specific metering and protection system used in them.
- The job requires a sound knowledge in operating mechanisms of circuit breakers, all kind of electromechanical, static and numerical relays.
- Apart from that a high level engineering aptitude and concentration is also required.
- Solving different types of shop floor problems related to the design and wiring from the Engineering aspect, both in-house and in relation to vendors.

- Design & drawing of single line diagram for sub-stations, captive power generation station, industrial power utilization etc.
- Selection of meters, relays and other bought-out instruments on the basis of customer requirement and order value.
- Detailed study of technical literatures of various electromechanical / numeric relays or meters.
- Fault level & other system parameter calculation.
- Technical Troubleshooting at the time of after sale servicing in different important locations. 
- Product codification for online internal indenting.
- Preparation of online master material requisition and Purchase Requisition.

- Good product knowledge; acquired sound understanding in various kind of vacuum circuit breaker operating mechanism, VCB enclosure etc.
- Gathered in-depth knowledge in both electromechanical / numeric relays / meters.
- Developed different power-packs to provide dc output for shunt trip and closing circuit of Circuit Breakers placed at the manned or unmanned sub-stations and also to provide dc auxiliary supply to the Numerical Relays.

[b]Details  [/b]: The problem of coordinating protective relays in power system networks consists of selecting their suitable settings such that their fundamental protective function is met under the requirements of sensitivity, selectivity, reliability and speed. In modern power system, abnormal condition can frequently occurring cause interruption in the supply, and may damage the equipments connected to the power system, which allows us to think the importance of designing a reliable protective system. In order to achieve such reliability, a backup protective scheme is provided which act’s as the back-up protection in case of any failure in the primary protection.

[b]Title  [/b]: Optimization of problems related to Power Systems using ‘Particle Swarm
Optimization technique’
[b]Details  [/b]: It is an optimization technique by which a multivariate function can be optimized
within the constraints of a respective variable. It can also be used for unconstrained
optimization problems.
In particular a problem of Unit Commitment for Economic Load Dispatch can be handled efficiently by using “Particle Swarm Optimization” technique. This is the latest trend in problems of optimization and is being widely used in various sectors.
