- Involved in in-depth design and drawing of medium voltage switchgears and various customer specific metering and protection system used in them.

- Preparation of online master material requisition and Purchase Requisition.
Achievements :
- Good product knowledge; acquired sound understanding in various kind of vacuum circuit breaker operating mechanism, VCB enclosure etc.

Title : Optimal Co-ordination of Protective Relays in Interconnected Power Systems.
Details : The problem of coordinating protective relays in power system networks consists of selecting their suitable settings such that their fundamental protective function is met under the requirements of sensitivity, selectivity, reliability and speed. In modern power system, abnormal condition can frequently occurring cause interruption in the supply, and may damage the equipments connected to the power system, which allows us to think the importance of designing a reliable protective system. In order to achieve such reliability, a backup protective scheme is provided which act’s as the back-up protection in case of any failure in the primary protection.

Title : Optimization of problems related to Power Systems using ‘Particle Swarm
Optimization technique’
Details : It is an optimization technique by which a multivariate function can be optimized
within the constraints of a respective variable. It can also be used for unconstrained
optimization problems.
In particular a problem of Unit Commitment for Economic Load Dispatch can be handled efficiently by using “Particle Swarm Optimization” technique. This is the latest trend in problems of optimization and is being widely used in various sectors.
