- Business development by cracking into new accounts
- Handling pricing desk for each customer and helping the team in doing an accurate and economical pricing.
- Regular visits to existing customers to retain old and corporate accounts.
- Generating Invoices, following up with the customer for the outstanding payment.
- Maintaining and generating Reports for the Management purpose.
- Day-to-Day planning and execution of clearances that involves scrutinizing of documents, Assessment, Examination, Bill of Entry documentation, Delivery and Dispatches.
- Handling Imports, Exports, Transhipments and Cross Trade for air, sea, land shipments.
- Handling Letter of Credit shipments for customers, helping clients to open L/C’s with the bank and preparing all documents for bank submission as per L/C requirements.
- Setting SOPS for the new business acquired and explaining the same to the rest of the team to ensure compliance.
- Handling Door to Door ,FOB,CNF,CIF and ex-works shipments 
- Requesting rates from the overseas agents and negotiating the same in order to gain good margin in the local market.
- Filing nominations with the overseas agents once the business is confirmed; following up with the overseas agents on the status of the shipments & keeping the customer posted with regular updates.
- Coordinating with the import clearance team for clearance & delivery of the shipments.
- Coordinating with operations team, carriers, shippers, transport team to meet vessel cut offs in export shipments.
- Co-ordination with the Liners/Consolidators/Freight Forwarders.
[b]- Planning and co-ordinating daily shipments [/b]: liase with transporters for effecting timely and cost effective delivery of export/import shipments.
- Handled the Delivery Order Counter by issuing delivery orders and Exchange B/L’s.
- Preparing Truckway Bills, Bill of Lading, certificate of origins with the chamber, arranging for legalization of documents from the respective consulate.
- Arranging for clearance of personal effects shipments including household items as well as vehicles.
