Designation-Consultant Project Officer-HIV/AIDS (Joined 23.03.11)
Responsibilities
[b]i.. Monitoring and evaluating the targeted intervention [/b]:
- Number of Uniquely identified High risk populations covered with the service delivery package as per NACP-III service delivery indicators including agreed staffing.
- Identify training needs of TI staff and follow up on trainings conducted by TSU or SACS.
- Reporting and documentation of the TI activities with SACS and TSU.
- Assist the TI identifying and mapping of community preferred health care providers for STI, RTI , SRH services and set up of referral networks.
- Monitoring the TI NGO clinics and community preferred health providers adhere to the NACP-III /NRHM guidelines on STI syndromic management.
- Monitor the coverage and referrals of the community to ICTCs.
- Monitor and setting up of condom outlets, set by the TIs for male and condom distribution.
- Facilitate the Linkage with the condom social marketing Program for male and condoms.
- Monthly analysis of TIs performance.
- Analyze the data related to the performance of the TIs ,identify gaps in the programme and take remedial action to improve the quality of service delivery.
ii. Management of Targeted intervention 
- Conduct on a regular basis the participatory sites visits as per agreed plan.
- Coordinate with SACS timely procurement and delivery of commodities to the TIs (Condoms ,drugs, IEC material)
- Coordinate the training of all the TIs in their region with the TSU and SACS.
- Organized on a quarterly basis a planned and structured theme based – experience sharing and review meeting to share best practices and encourage cross learning in consultation s with team leaders.
iii. Financial oversight of expenditure in the TIs.
- Follow u of a regular financial reporting of the TIs as per planned expenditures.
- Ensure that all the TIs provide the fund utilization certificates on a regular basis.
- Follow up of regular payment and disbursement from SACS as per agreed budgets.
- Monitor expenditure in relation to program activities and provide feedback to TIs for financial management and strengthening.
iv. Capacity building of TIs
- Implement the capacity building plan for all TIs in the district in consultation with the team leader capacity building based on the identified training needs.
- Train and guide the stock management issues.
- Build capacity of the TIs in social marketing of male and condoms in consultation with Team leader IEC and social marketing at TSU.
- Build the capacity of the TIs in revalidating the mapping of hotspots for the key community population.
TSU-TI, Avert Society (NACO Maharashtra Technical support unit) 
Avert Society is registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860 and is a Public Trust registered with the Charity Commissioner in Maharashtra State (India). It is funded and jointly administered by Government of Maharashtra, National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID India). It is engaged in reducing the transmission of STD/ HIV/AIDS and related infectious diseases and mitigating their impact.
Designation-Program Officer, TSU-TI, Mumbai (Joined 14.05.10-21.03.11)
Responsibilities-
- Monitoring/Supervision of 10 TI NGOs with minimum of 15 days of visit.
- Ensure TIs recruit all staffs according to the approved plan and guidelines.
- Ensure the TIs provide the appointment letter to all staffs with detailed TOR.
- Facilitation for induction training of newly recruited or transitioned TIs.
- Ensure that all the TIs have Peer educator wise hotspot level outreach plans that are supervised by out each workers and monthly review of out each workers and Peer educators performance is done by the chief functionary of the TIs.
- Facilitating the identification (by TI), short-listing (mapping), training and establishing linkages with preferred provider.
- Ensuring the clinics (Project owned or referral) follow the NACO syndromic case management guideline.
- Ensure that TIs develop referral network for ICTC, Care and support, TB management, STI complication, medical care, social and legal support, and IDU services.
- Ensure that the TIs have set up free condom outlets at all hotspots.
- Ensure the TIs meet the condom demand of each HRGs through outreach.
- Ensure that TIs maintain sufficient condom stock and correspond with SACS for timely delivery.
- Ensure that the TIs utilize the funds in time and as per budget guidelines
- Ensure that the TIs have the correct understanding of all CMIS indicators and all TIs timely submit UCs and monthly CMIS to SACS
- Ensure that each TI is able to do the analysis of feedback of CMIS data at the project and outreach level
- Ensure that all the TIs have typology specific IEC
- Co-ordinate with the SMO to ensure that SM outlets are setup at each TI
- Facilitate rapport building with all stakeholders,co-ordination with DAPCU and other Government agencies for program support
- Coordinate with TSU HQ and STRC to ensure all TI staffs are trained
- Develop learning sites in the district/region
- Coordinate and facilitate a monthly review meet attended by all the TIs in the region where best practices are shared, key gaps are addressed and broad plans are designed
- Assist TSU Team Leader (Targeted Intervention) and Training in setting up a system of on-site concurrent assessment of the quality of training and grading of participants
- Strengthen TI data through supportive monitoring and supervision.
COMMITTED COMMUNITIES DEVELOPMENT TRUST (CCDT), Mumbai in Chaha project under GFATM ROUND-6, HIV/AIDS care and support program.CCDT is a voluntary, secular trust. It provides help to marginalized communities with social relevance through comprehensive programs of integrated health services, social education and community development. CCDT works with HIV/AIDS, Community health and children in difficult situations.
Project goal-To improve the quality of life of children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS in India through right based approach, by strengthening and expanding comprehensive prevention, care, support and treatment and to reduce the number of children infected with HIV in India.
Designation- Project Officer (Joined 28.06.07------13.05.10)
Responsibililies-
- Management of the team of CCDT-Global AIDS Care and support project.
- Contribute to CCDT’s HIV/AIDS Program.
- Ensuring child rights by involving child participation in all activities of CCDT.
- Coordinate and monitor the implementation of all field level activities as outlined in the proposal including finance management.
- Capacity building of Project team members. 
- Recruit team members for Project as the need of project..
- Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly/annual progress reports to the concerned authority.
- Network set up with government departments/state agencies and NGO,s.
- Facilitate linkages between the beneficiaries and Govt. welfare schemes.

SATHI (Organization of Tata institute of social sciences) in Aastha Project of AVAHAN Program through Family Health international. It is funded by get foundation.
Project Goal-To reduce the vulnerability of STI/HIV among sex-workers & their regular partners in Mumbai & Thane.

Responsibility 
- Coordinate the implementation of all field level activities as outlined in the proposal;
- Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly/annual progress reports to the concerned authorities; 
- Ensure that all guidelines and protocols are being implemented
- Network with government departments/state agencies and NGOs;
- Facilitate coordination meetings with SATHI, SOSVA, FHI (Funding organizations) and Stakeholders;
- Arrange necessary resources for capacity building activities;;

- Engaged in a ‘Legal awareness camp’ Project passed by NATIONAL WOMEN COMMISSION. Worked as a co-coordinator at west-Bengal in 2006.
- MSW (1st yr) placed in rural village. Experience in working with individual, achieved good team work with Children, youth, women and elderly people and with them, organized various need based Community Organization Programmes.

 Achievements
 Build the capacity of ten TIs in Mumbai and prepared five TIs among them as learning site for Maharashtra.
Achieved eight stars in SATHI-AASTHA by the evaluation of FHI-AVAHAN team among all implementing partners of Thane and Mumbai. Eight stars is conferred on achieving 90-100% of the Projects’ target indicators.
