CURRENT POSITION: Asst.General Manager – Operations “ Western Region” GOA, in TCRC, since 15/01/2009.

- Responsible for the operations in Western Region w.r.t deployment of manpower
At various working locations in the region.
- Quality monitoring of Iron Ore results coming from various points in the region.
- Recruitment of manpower in various positions .
- Coordination with HO, Mineowners, suppliers etc.

A. HOD – Coordination, As Manager in Marketing and Logistics Department  Feb- 2005 to November – 2008, with M/s MSPL Ltd , Hospet. – a 5000 cr.  Company engaged into Mining and Exports of Iron Ore.
- Responsible for ore convergence to various ports and monitoring of movement of ore through road and rail.
- Monitoring of movement of ore through various transporters and related activities
- Daily monitoring & disbursal of amount to various port handling agents of about 1 cr.
- Monitoring the operations of various branches in west coast and east coast 
- Responsible for coordination of operation & administration of  handling agents/assayers/service providers at various locations
- Coordination of activities of MKTG & LOG with intra – office , vendors / service providers.

B. Worked as A.G.M with M/s Buildmate Concrete Products Ltd, Hyderabad from Apr’02 to JAN ‘05.
Looking after the Zonal Sales activities & Ensuring prompt supplies  by means of effective logistics chain are the major responsibilities.

C. Worked as Regional Manager with Murudeshwar Ceramics Ltd. at their Regional office, Lucknow. From MARCH ‘00 – Mar’02.
 Creating a Marketing base for the Company in the region starting from  scratch & building up a strong sales force to tap the market  potential were the major responsibilities. Coordinating with the  Logistics partners and the dealers to ensure proper supplies to the end  user was also a part of my responsibility. In the mean time , to ensure  right supplies, a local outlet for the Company’s products had been set  up. This move enabled the end customer to know more about the company’s  product range and there by facilitated enhanced sales. Above all, it  created a higher level of product awareness among the end customers . By  the end of my tenure in this Organization, we were able create a strong  Brand image in the market for the Company and its Product range as well  .

D ) Worked as Zonal Manager ( Sales & Admin ) for M/s NCL Seccolor  Ltd at their Zonal Office in New Delhi from Oct’96 – Feb’00.
Here the Job profile can be consolidated as that of a Project Manager ,  who takes care of the completion of a project on turn-key basis. We used  to sell our products and simultaneously take the responsibility of  installing the same at the customer’s premises. We used to cater to the  needs of different levels of customer range viz., the Architects ,  Builders and some times Individual customers from different strata. In  order to complete the project , we need to ensure proper supplies of raw  material to the Installation sites in right time . We had to take care  of Logistics with meticulous planning and effective coordination with  the plant and transporters. Once the material arrives , we had to deploy  competent work force in order to complete the installation in the  stipulated time . With a different strategy for each client , we were  able to achieve a sales figure of 50 lakh a month by means of a team of  25 persons in Sales and Admin depts. and 10 installation teams at  various sites.

E) Worked as Area Sales Manager with M/s J.K.WHITE CEMENT LIMITED, Mumbai from Sep ’89 to Sep’96 .
 EXPANDED THE AREA SALES BY 100%
 CREATED THE DEALOR-RETAILOR NETWORK IN THE AREA.
 MANAGED A SALES TEAM OF 20 PEOPLE
CREATED THE PRODUCT AWARENESS AT ALL THE STRATA OF THE NETWORK IN SALES.
