Here the Job profile can be consolidated as that of a Project Manager , who takes care of the completion of a project on turn-key basis. We used to sell our products and simultaneously take the responsibility of installing the same at the customer’s premises. We used to cater to the needs of different levels of customer range viz., the Architects , Builders and some times Individual customers from different strata. In order to complete the project , we need to ensure proper supplies of raw material to the Installation sites in right time . We had to take care of Logistics with meticulous planning and effective coordination with the plant and transporters. Once the material arrives , we had to deploy competent work force in order to complete the installation in the stipulated time . With a different strategy for each client , we were able to achieve a sales figure of 50 lakh a month by means of a team of 25 persons in Sales and Admin depts. and 10 installation teams at various sites.
E) Worked as Area Sales Manager with M/s J.K.WHITE CEMENT LIMITED, Mumbai from Sep ’89 to Sep’96 .
EXPANDED THE AREA SALES BY 100%
CREATED THE DEALOR-RETAILOR NETWORK IN THE AREA.
