Job Description:
Interested candidates should have experience in working with Aerospace companies in the field of Analysis and FE modeling. The candidate should be aware of manual as well as tool based calculations involved in Aerospace analysis. The candidate should have strong analytic skills with the ability to interpret the realistic conditions using FEM tools. Understanding of customer requirements and providing accurate solution is utmost important in this field. Those who have experience in Airbus process will be added advantage. Candidates with composite analysis skills will have additional preferences.

PROJECT TITLE IN M.TECH : “A STUDY ON MACHINING CHARACTERISTICS OF Al6061 METAL MATRIX COMPOSITE THROUGH WIRE CUT ELECTRO DISCHARGE MACHINING”
DESCRIPTION : In this study, Al6061 alloy reinforced with SiC particle is proposed to be casted by stir casting technique. Casting will be done by varying the percentage of SiC from 3%, 6% and 9% by weight. In the present Wire EDM will be used for machining of Al6061/SiC composite. The experiments are proposed to be carried out as per design of experiments approach using L9 orthogonal array. The results will be analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and response graphs. The results obtained from this study are presumed to be useful for manufacturing engineers to select appropriate WEDM process parameters to machine MMCs of Al6061 reinforced with SiC at various proportions.
PROJECT TITLE IN B.E : “STUDY OF TRIBOLOGICAL PROPERTIES OF ZA BASED ALLOY REINFORCED WITH SiC PARTICULATE METAL MATRIX COMPOSITES”
DESCRIPTION : In this study, ZA metal matrix reinforced with SiC particle was casted by stir casting technique. Casting was done by varying the percentage of SiC from 1% to 5%. A composite specimen was subjected to sliding wear condition by pin on disc wear testing machine under unlubricated condition. Wear properties are checked under different conditions after testing, the surface of the specimen was analyzed for mechanism of wear by testing microstructure photograph. The most observed wear mechanism is abrasive wear, and elimination or micro cutting of the specimen. Wear properties can be further improved by increasing the SiC percentage.
