Job Description:
Ability to work independently as well as along-with the team.
As part of the team will get opportunity to work on one or more of the following aspects:
o Accounts Payables – Vendors and Statutory Payments
o Accounts Receivable – Raising invoices and tracking for collections
o Day to day accounting including journal entries
o Bank Payments through cheques, drafts and e-payments
o Bank reconciliations and other reconciliations.
o Petty cash handling, recording of entries & cash conciliations.
o MIS Reports.
o Liasioning with Banks, Vendors and other external parties
o Deducting and depositing appropriate TDS from payments released
o Preparation of ETDS Returns for payroll as well as vendors.
o Payroll processing and reimbursements processing and tracking.
o Compliance with various payroll related laws including income tax, labour welfare, PF etc.
o Compliances within STPI.
o Compliances in relation to corporate laws
o FBT and Advance Tax Calculations.
o Maintenance of Fixed Assets Records and computing and recording depreciation along with maintaining fixed assets register.
o Foreign Exchange Loss / Gain calculations.
o Supporting monthly closing of books.
o Interaction with Statutory Auditors, Tax Auditors and Internal Auditor to ensure smooth closure of Audit.
o Supporting preparation of balance sheet & Schedules and annexures thereof. Preparation of details of expenses, provisioning and accruals etc.
o Other aspects as required to support the business from time to time.

Desired Candidate Profile:
Candidate must be a commerce graduate with 5 - 10 years of experience
Reasonable level of communication skills in English
Will get opportunity to interact with Opera Global Teams.
Exposure to various statutory Compliances, supporting audits, and preparation of balance sheet.
Good command over Accounting principles & book-keeping.
Good command over TDS rules and regulations.
Working on MS-office is a must and proficient in MS Excel.
Must be hard working and with positive attitude. Willing to take extra mile to support the business.
Exposure to ERP environment would be an advantage.
Deviations from above profile can be considered on merit basis
