Project Summary :
RELAY PROTECTION SYSTEM OF SUB - STATION :
In this project related to the protection of sub station, an analysis of protection and protective devices of a 66KV sub- station kattoor,Thrissur( DT), Kerala under Kerala State Electricity Board was done. Also noted the changes taken while upgrading thee 66KV substation to a 110 KV one. The project was a stimulating one. Mainly I analyzed about the protection system of the sub-station. This project was very much helpful in familiarizing about the different types of faults occurring in a sub station and its relating equipments. Also this project helped to know about protections like relay protection system and lightning protection methods.

Seminar Summary :
ENERGY TRANSMISSION SYSTEM FOR AN ARTIFICIAL HEART LEAKAGE INDUCTANCE COMPENSATION :
A power supply system using a transcutaneous transformer to power an artificial heart through intact skin. In order to realize both high voltage gain and minimum circulating current compensation of leakage inductances on both sides of a transcutaneous transformer is proposed. A frequency region which realizes the robustness against coupling coefficient and load variation is identified. In this region the convertor has inherent advantages such as zero voltage switching or zero current switching of the switches, high voltage gain minimum circulating current and high efficiency.
