Job Description:

Responsibilities/Authorities:
1. Clinical Review of all cases - serious and non-serious safety reports
2. Reviewing medical literature, safety data, draw conclusions from safety reports, clinical reports
3. Medical report writing

Desired Candidate Profile:
Successful candidates should be MBBS/MD Doctors in any discipline with good experience in pharma covigilance.

Main job responsibilities include:
Reviewing medical literature, safety data
Draw conclusions from safety reports, clinical reports
Clinical Review of all cases - serious and non-serious safety reports
Review and verify appropriate selection of adverse events from source
documents, appropriate MedDRA code for each adverse event and accuracy of label assessments for each adverse event. Adjust to changing regulatory environment.

Provides a medical evaluation comment for all serious spontaneous, unlisted adverse events and serious related events from studies and solicited adverse events Provides assessment(s) for study cases and solicited reports Reviews the source document to assure relevant information pertaining to the case is appropriately entered

Basic skills required would be:
Knowledge of clinical terminology
Good written communication skills
Proficiency in medical report writing and safety standards
Knowledge of Medical Safety Standards

Total Experience: 2 to 8 Years
Relevent Experience: minimum 1.5 years
