My client is a leading EPC contractor who undertake major LSTK, PMC and EPC projects within the Petrochemical and Oil & Gas sectors.

Continued growth and a full workload, has led to them requiring a highly experienced electrical engineering professional to join their office based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The role will be responsible for the managememt of the electrical engineering department and their delivery of projects.

This is a permanent position.

Experience Required:
The succesfull candidate will have experience of working as Electrical Department Manager for another EPC company operating within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical sectors.

Preparation of all technical documents like Design basis report, detailed calculations, tender document/drawings etc.
Preparation of single line diagram (SLD) and design of Power Distribution Control Philosophy Logic for various electrical equipments.
Sizing of Electrical equipments like : Transformer, DG Set, HT Normal, HT Emergency Switch Board, LT Panels, UPS, SMPS, Battery Bank, ACDB, DCDB, LDB, Cabling, Lighting Equipments etc.
Preparation of Bill Of Quantity(BOQ)
Release of Tender documents to Procurement team for inviting techno-commercial bids
Technical Recommendation to Procurement team for High & Low end equipments & services post technical evaluation of offers.
PROJECT EXECUTION & PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Review, approval and release of GFC drawings to Site team
Generation of Master Project Plan.
