Working in Supplier Quality Assurance and handling commodities consisting of Forged and Machined parts, gears, shafts, sheet metals, casting parts.
Present Responsibility :
- New development Sample inspection of Gears machined parts & machined forgings, shafts and sheet metal parts at supplier end.
- Perform supplier audits and assist suppliers in the development and implementation of corrective action plans and quality improvement plans
- Monitoring for `PPAP` documents from supplier.
- Responsible for incoming inspection material for assigned suppliers & monitoring for metallurgical parts.
- Addressing assembly problems due to component issues.
- Root cause analysis for rework & rejection of transmission assemblies.
- Communication of root cause of rejection to supplier, arranging containment action, & follow-up with supplier for corrective & preventive actions.
- Daily booking of rejection through system & follow-up for closure of Q notes.
- Actively involved in auditing and improving quality systems and procedures at supplier end.
- Deciding Quality plan for incoming material as per process & product requirements.
- Analysis & reduction of incoming & assembly line rejection PPM & cost with help of ‘Pareto analyses, Cause & Effect Diagram’ & ‘Poka-Yoke’.

- Updated Control Plans for inspection in NAAG system for 900 parts..
- Team member for six sigma project, “cost reduction project at SQA for changing frequency of material inspection”.
