    Desired Candidate Profile:
    Shall assist the store-in-charge in the procurement of materials from the market.

    This position call for a person Knowledgeable about the standard materials used by the company, about the availability of the materials in the market and passes a valid driving license.

    It’s main duty is to obtain the local purchase orders from the store-in-charge and take delivery of the materials from the suppliers showroom/ goaded.

    The process of taking delivery of the materials the Purchasing Assistant shall check the materials including the quantities against the purchase order. He shall also ensure that any… delivery is properly reflected in the delivery note issued by the suppliers.

    For non-standard items when quantities are be obtained only on the basis of samples, the Purchasing Assistant will carry the samples to the listed supplies for their quotations.

    The Purchasing Assistant also shall help the store-in-charge or the store keeper in filing the requisition forms, the local purchase orders etc.
