Job Description:
Essential Functions:
• Supervises the guard force that provides protection to all U.S. mission facilities, residences, and to the Chief of the Mission;
• Prepares guard orders, deploys guards and develops weekly schedules;
• Conducts inspections of guards and guard posts;
• Investigates irregularities;
• Prepares reports and makes recommendations regarding discipline and termination actions;
• Serves as the point of contact with the RSO on operational guard force matters.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Requirements:
• Minimum of high school (12th grade) education or equivalent;
• One year of college OR ten years of security police experience as a substitute for college and have successfully completed appropriate security training courses;
• Previous experience of supervising guard, police or army force of at least 50 personnel;
• Fluent in written and spoken English;
• Successfully pass criminal and credit background check;
• Successfully pass physical examination;
• Valid Driver’s License;
• Outstanding interpersonal communication skills;
• Advanced security training desired.
