The Dakshana Foundation (www.dakshana.org) is about two years old and we’re well on our way to helping alleviate poverty and make this planet a slightly better place. We have made some very significant progress towards our mission. (www.dakshana.org/AR07.pdf).

For the right person, the driver will be the pursuit of passion with compensation being a secondary consideration. This position will fully reimburse you for all out of pocket expenses. However, monthly compensation is limited to a honorium of Rs. 10,000/month. At Dakshana, we focus to bring on team members who possess exceptional intelligence, absolute integrity and boundless energy. This position requires 1-2 days of travel every week and 20-30 hours of effort every week. It is ideal for an energetic person with strong management skills who wants who has recently retired – and wants to improve the world.

Dakshana is focused on the alleviation of poverty through helping gifted students from impoverished, rural families attend IIT after getting world-class IIT JEE coaching fully funded by the foundation. It is a gift that keeps on giving. At Dakshana, the beneficiary of aid today is the donor of tomorrow. The students we help break the shackles of poverty today have a moral (but not legal) obligation to donate 10% of lifetime earnings back to Dakshana (or any other charity of their choice). We believe that the amount we “invest” in every Dakshana Scholar has an exponential payback to the Scholar’s family, community and country. The foundation is well funded and endowed. In the last two years it has spent over Rs. 10 Crores towards its mission. The budget for the next year is over Rs. 1.5 crores.
