PROJECT DETAILS :
1. Presently working in iPad projects on Adobe Indesign CS5.5. The Printed Journals are republished in iPad (i.e. it is repaginated as the requirements of iPad).
2. Previously working in Indesign CS II & III on Blackwell (NEJ&LIFE) and Npgrj jobs
2. Previously working in Journal Division in 3B2 in Blackwell Department.
3. Previously working in Book Division in Quark Xpress on Elsevier Jobs.
WORKFLOW :
In Journal division for Indesign workflow the input file is XML or word file in case of XML file the file is imported in Indesign using scripts and paginated, in case of word file, the file is structured and flowed in Indesign using Indesign Template. Then the file is paginated and printouts given for upload.
In Journal division the input file will be Xml file or Sgml file which will be flowed in 3B2 and given printout. Since the workflow is forward engineering we have to take care of the Xml part in 3B2.
In Book division the input file will be word file which will styled and flowed in Quark and paginated and given printout.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Flowing the files using required templates and paginating as per Customer Specifications.
- Maintaining production Sheets/Schedules.
- Coordinating with Readers to meet the Schedules.
- Achieving targets and maintaining the schedules.
