Job Description:
MD Pathology with minimum 7 yrs. experience after Post - graduation and expertise in Histocytopathology.
1. Assisting in Planning, organising, monitoring various activities and processes of the section.
2. Assisting in sourcing alternates available to achieve better efficiencies in cost and technology.
3. Daily review of abnormal results.
4. Screening of Histopathology /Immunohistochemistry and Cytology.
5. Monitor quality protocols.
6. Servicing technical queries of doctors, sales officers and internal departments.
7. Assisting in putting together inputs for marketing literature.
8. Assisting in publications and presentations.
9. Day to day administration.
10. Reviewing slides and reports.
11. Ensuring turnaround time of laboratory tests.
12. Making standard operating procedures for tests.
13. Conducting training sessions/ seminars for staff.
14. Managing human resources.
15. Staff rotation to decrease intellectual fatigue.
16. Interpersonal relationship management to tackle unpleasant situations.
17. Conducting yearly performance appraisals of the scientific staff.
18. Conducting interviews for new recruitments.
19. Managing materials & resources.
20. Decreasing the cost per test by sourcing kits at optimal prices.
21. Monitoring actual consumption of stocks versus the number of tests performed.
22. Ensuring competitive market price of tests through effective management of materials and resources.
