Essential Responsibilities:

*Work with O&G Steam Turbine team functional managers to capture their requirements and expectations and regularly exceed commitments through personal effort and team leadership
*Drive the peer review process rigor, own Tollgate design reviews and drive continuous improvements
*Own the People’s Performance Management, People development responsibility within team.
*Own the Team Development/Hiring for the team with the support and inputs from the CoE ManagerReporting Manager
*Advocate and lead by example w.r.t to use of six sigma tools and engagement in team initiatives and be a change agent, Black belt preferred.
*Own the People’s Performance Management Process, Training Plan Implementation and Career development of the team members

Qualifications/Requirements:
*ME Engineering (Mechanical/Aerospace)
*Min 8 years of design engineering experience
*Demonstrated expertise in ANSYS/Rotor dynamics/UG/Other Mech design tools
*Demonstrated expertise in Design/stress analysis/Lifting methodologies related to Gas Turbine/Steam turbine/Compressor Components
*Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills, ability to interface effectively with global counterparts
