EXPERIENCE
Aug 1985-Sep 1986 : Admin Training Institute, Sambre, Belgaum (Karnataka) have a training schedule of 52 weeks and turn a civilian into a combat trained personnel of IAF. Besides the combatness the training about the procedure/administration/disposal/ accounting, Preservation of items, packaging, Transportation (by all means), Inventory control, Scaling of items, Local Purchase/Repair, Tendering, Provisioning Schedule, reviewing the establishment of holdings, necessary import/export clearance, care and custody of V&A item, procedure with sister concern services.
Sep 1986-Jul 1989 : A vast AF base Jodhpur(Rajasthan). Jan 87 was a tough and enjoying time for a bare service experienced combatant, a war like situation emerged, deployed for Ops support at Porbandar (Guj). All Lgs support from Jamnagar(Guj) a quite distance. 1989 asked to move to Roti near Ahmednagar(Mah), all Lgs assistance from Army Base at Ahmednagar. May 1996-Feb 2001 : Pune (Maharashtra) a famous unit for induction/formation new type of a/c MIG-29 and SU-30 aircrafts. Equipment Depot (ED) of SU-30 active participation during Ex-Russia receipt directly by cargo carrying aircraft AN-124. Abroad deals have to be customs/immigration clearances from customs department. Loads came in packed and dismantled condition, tasked to facilitate the Russian Warranty Team (RWT) for erection of aircraft as per contract. Exercising warranty clause and getting replaced/repaired the items as per contract. A post induction plan display of item as per modern era.
Feb 2001-Jun 2006 : Allahabad (UP) for Lgs activity in tropo communication, signals, SATCOM Eqpt. Over and above Lgs activity, also performed the duty of CSD canteen manager. 2006 when IAF had electronic logistics from manual logistics. An e-audit cleared ERP base software on Os Windows 2003 Server, DBMS SQL Server 2000 designed by M/s TCS especially for IAF requirements of complete Lgs Mgt named IMMOLS (Integrated Material Management on Line System). Air HQ conducted training with help of TCS to selected officers and air warrior in the field of Initial installation of IMMOLS Server room, porting data, networking associated eqpt. Completed the training in Jan 2006. Conducted IMMOLS training classes at unit level about similarity and operation from manual Lgs.
Jun 2006-Aug2008 : Hasimara a remote location near Silliguri and bordering area of Bhutan, Setup IMMOLS server Room and worked as Network/System administration on Cluster base sever. Maintaining 100% serviceability of server, it’s accessories and Attending the complaints of 45 client’s terminals (adjacent on UTP cable and comprehensive locations of app 5 Kms are on Modem). Conversant about function and faults of Networking Eqpt (i.e. Router, L-2 Switches, LAN/WAN, Replication of Data and Loading software Patches supplied by TCS through Air HQ). Conducted of regular training classes on IMMOLS and set up a cyber café at Server Room complex for remote user comes at Lgs complex.
Aug 2008-Till date(31 Aug 11) : The highest formation of IAF Air HQ in Directorate of Stores (POL-Aerolubes) monitoring via e-records (IMMOLS) and keep on maintaining stocks of MSHD/ASP as per Review Action Figure, Short Stock Figure of entire range of aerolubes for complete air force fleets. Work sheets and carry out periodic/special provisioning reviews accordingly forwarding proposals for procurement as per DPM from both indigenous/abroad sources as per specification issued by competent authority time to time. Monitoring life management, FIFO concept, extension of life as per labs test reports/verdicts of shelf life aerolubes. Inter unit allocation in criticality.
