Indian Community Welfare Organization is a Non-Government Organization working among sex workers and MSM in building awareness on HIV/ AIDS prevention and children of sex workers to educate them on their rights. UDHAYAM is a project funded by ACTION AID, which is supporting the sex workers children. The main objective of this project is to prevent the sex workers children being sexually exploited and to prevent them from being trafficked.

- One-month block placement in “Community Health and Development” CHAD in Vellore as an observer. Conducted one Focus group discussion with the truck drivers about the Awareness of the HIV/AIDS.
- One-month field work in Nagapattinam for the Tsunami Rehabilitation work. It involved Data collection to understand rehabilitation needs; providing counseling to several families and engaging the children in constructive activities like games.
