Job Description:
Strategic
Develop strategic plan for the branch
Develop policies, procedures and ensure adequate internal controls in the branch
Establish accountability and apply quality control standards
Recommend processes and systems for strengthening the operations of the branch
Reporting
Provide branch weekly and monthly performance reports to the Area Manager
Provide reports such as loan utilizations, surprise visits, GRT attended on regular intervals
Management
Effective supervision of branch staff, by means of planned and surprise visits, to ensure that instructions are being implemented, and procedures and internal controls as laid down in the Organization's Operation Manual are being followed
Setting up realistic targets for staff and help them to achieve them every month
Provide effective and productive leadership to the branch team in the following priority areas:
Improve outreach of the branch for the attainment of financial viability in a cost effective way
Loan Management
Fund management
Use of fair accounting practice
Staff management and capacity building

Desired Candidate Profile:
Attributes
Good report writing skills
Basic knowledge of Accounts and Audit
Advance Computer knowledge (Proficiency in Excel is must)
Should be a good team player and work closely with Management team, accounting team or other branches
An understanding of microfinance sector
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Language: Must be able to read, write and speak in Hindi and English. Knowledge of Rajasthani will be beneficial
