Job Description:
Shall act in a fiduciary capacity for maintenance of accurate accounting records and financial reporting systems.

Analyses and interprets statistical and accounting data and having anticipated trends makes recommendations response.

Directs company efforts in the area of risk management taxes and information systems coordination. Communications skills are critical in that the Finance Controller will be working with all aspects of global organization and will be called upon to provide leadership as well as be a team member.

Will over time be working with different parts of Quaker’s Finance & Accounting and will need to be able to establish working relationships to enable/ provide needed support.

Establishes, or recommends to management, major corporate economic strategies, objectives, and policies for company.

Prepares reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.

Directs the monthly accounting close cycle.

Directs preparation of budgets, reviews budget proposals, and prepares necessary supporting documentation and justification.

Provides management with timely reviews of organization's financial status and progress in its various programs and activities.

Manages audits of company's accounts.

Prepares reports required by regulatory agencies, including ROC, Income Tax, Indirect Tax etc.

Desired Candidate Profile:
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions in accounting.

Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise associates in the Financial Reporting. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of different units such as Warehouses, Supply Chain, and Chemical Management Services etc. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Working Capital Management – Managing the Working Capital and healthy cash flow will be the responsibility of FC.
