To introduce myself: I am a 30 years experienced English Language, Communication and Soft Skills Maven. Until December 2008, I was the Faculty head cum trainer with one of Hyderabad's topmost institutes. My passion and enthusiasm for teaching has compelled me to write. I have an enthusiastic way of teaching and motivating people as a result, my students called me an ATM (Automatic Training Machine). The institute that I worked in had an increased number of registrations as a result of my collaboration. I also conducted motivational seminars in various colleges which resulted in additional enrolments. You are aware that effective communication skills are essential in all scenarios, whether in business dealings, romantic entanglements or family affairs, and being misunderstood is often a huge embarrassment. An important point to remember is: Neglect communication skills and you limit your happiness and success. And by default you give others control over your life.
In an increasingly competitive world it is a persons skill with people that determines whether he or she move ahead more so than their technical ability. There is a plentiful supply of able workers but very few have great communication skills.
