1) Presently working in Al-Nahda Resort and Spa, in Muscat, Capital city of Sultanate of Oman, as a Life-style Consultant and in-charge Spa Manager, from August 2006.
Work involved:-
Organizing different health Programmers like Detox, stress management, weight loss and Weight management. Handling Hi-Tech Equipments like the:-
- Colon hydrotherapy;- a gentle irrigation of the large intestine, using clear UVR treated water, to remove stagnant waste and toxins.
- Transion;- a slimming and firming treatment, which slims and tightens up the Abdominal muscles.
- Tri-active laser;- an anti-cellulite treatment. It also helps in draining of toxins and shaping up the body contours. It improves blood circulation and helps in regeneration of dead cells.
- Aqua Massage;- a Huge machine in which, under-water massage is done, & 7 other holistic therapies can be done, in the same machine. It is the energy cocoon. Underwater massage is done in this Machine. Bubble massage is also done, after which fine vibrations are given. Holistic treatments like, steam, aromatherapy, chromotherapy,and infra-red heat are also included.
- Microwave- Diathermy, a Physiotherapy machine. To relieve deep seated pains, this heat is given.
- Micro -dermabrasion, a cosmetic machine. Dead skin peeling is done using micro-fine aluminum crystals. It is used for removing acne scars, and even wrinkles.
- Intense Pulse Light, also a cosmetic machine. Gradually reduces hair growth and is used to remove unwanted hair.
- Doing Diagnostic checks with Hi-tech computerized machines like, Vega-check and Vega-test Expert. Based on the concept of Naturopathy, it reads energy levels in the body, and diagnoses allergies in the system.
- Consultation, organizing dietary plans, and advicing different kinds of fitness and life-style changes for maintaining health.
- Organizing and training the team for Ayurvedic Panchakarma treatments.
2) In August 1998 joined as a resident Medical officer in Ayurvedagram, an Ayurvedic Health Resort, in Bangalore. Here mainly my work involved was to organize Different health programmers like Relaxation, Stress management and detoxification. Consultation and treating illness with classical and patent Ayurvedic Medicines. Organizing Panchakarma treatments, for detoxification.
3) March 2004 again I started my private Practice, until I joined Al-Nahda Resort and Spa in August 2006.
4) In May 1997, joined and worked as a Research Assistant in Indian Institute of Natural And Herbal Medical Sciences, Work involved was treating the patients for specific Diseases with herbal medicines. 5) From December 1987, up to May 1997 was practicing privately as a family physician.
