Job Description:
The selected candidate will take overall responsibility for developing and delivering the electrical power generating business. This will include, but will not be limited to - taking charge of delivery of the technical and operational functions (design, engineering, tendering, project management and maintenance management) of Electrical Power Generating business including IPP; ensuring effective liaisoning with the State governments of Nigeria and other African countries; managing the effective utilization of the company's resources and assets for project success of Generating Stationss and optimization power generation with profit margin; advise management on IPP business planning and strategy; develop and implement modern Project operational strategy with IT supports; prepare budget for project execution, operation and review, among others.

Desired Candidate Profile:
Graduate in Electrical Engineering with MBA from a reputable institution. Must have about 20 years professional working experience, 5 of which must have been managing large electrical power generation company based on gas, heavy fuel oil, low pour oil etc. Experience should include planning, budgeting, executing, monitoring and cash flow management of complex projects. Training on project management, CAD and MS Office/Prima (PMO) will be an advantage. Candidate must be a member of a professional management as well as engineering body. Must also have a good understanding of the application of JIT, 6-Sigma or other methodologies for constant improvement in speed and quality of delivery of projects.
