Job Description:
PRESENTATIONS SKILLS. The Instructor shall have appropriate eye contact, mannerisms, professionalism and enthusiasm and constant interaction with students to hold the interest of the students.

TECHNICALLY COMPETENT. The Instructor shall introduce real world applications in conjunction with the concepts being taught.

PUNCTUAL. The Instructor shall be at the classroom in sufficient time to ensure that the classroom, materials, and equipment are ready and operational to begin the class at the appointed class start time.

PREPARATION. The Instructor shall be prepared to teach the class at the required level associated with the subject matter. An Instructor may be deemed unprepared to teach if they cannot clearly articulate in English and deliver the material in a professional manner consistent with adult learning methodologies.

ORGANIZATION. The Instructor shall use an organized manner of delivery utilizing good time management, logical sequencing of course materials, following an established course agenda syllabus and the ability to provide materials in such a way as to avoid student confusion.

RESPONSIVENESS. The Instructor shall be able to answer student questions consistent with the subject matter being taught thereby demonstrating knowledge and competency with course materials.

APPEARANCE. The Contractor shall insure its Instructors dress in professional business casual attire (e.g., Khaki slacks, collared shirts, etc.) as a minimum standard of appearance.

Desired Candidate Profile:
CERTIFICATION OF INSTRUCTORS. Contractor personnel assigned to teach a course must be competent in the subject area with instructional experience, as well as be vendor certified on the most current version of the classes that they are teaching at the time that the contract is awarded. If a version of a class is upgraded while this contract is in effect, the Instructor must be able to upgrade his/her certification to the most current version within six month. The Instructors shall be competent with all presentations and remediation procedures, training aids, devices and equipment associated with the course.

Cisco
• Minimum CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification.
• The CISCO Instructor should be CISCO Certified Systems Instructors (CCSI).
• Should be affiliated with a Cisco Learning Solutions Partner (CLSP) or a CISCO Learning Partner Program Sponsored Organization (SO).

Microsoft
• Minimum Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification.
• The Microsoft Instructor should be Microsoft Certified Trainers (MCT).
• Instructors should be affiliated with a Microsoft Certified Partner for Learning Solutions (CPLS).
