Water Steam Cycle Pipe Erection & Pressure Testing Supervisor Jan 2011 – Present
On completion of the 2 boilers I was transferred to assist with the erection and pressure testing of the entire pipelines on the WSC systems, reviewing the P&IDs and all ISOs for correct installation of all systems prior to final inspections with the client and then releasing the systems for pressure testing to BS-EN 13480-5, finally completing the PT Test Pack Documents for hand over to the client.
Boiler Supervisor Aug 2010 – December 2010
During the role of Boiler Supervisor Stephen was employed after the project had already started which meant he had to get involved very quickly with the coordination off all daily boiler erections activities and work schedules, working very closely with the site management team Duro Dakovic Croatia. (at times over 100 men on site working on the 2 boilers)
Successful boiler pressure test line 2 in Newhaven!!!! (Information from AE&E)

Today we have successfully passed the boiler pressure test for the second boiler!!!
Despite a delayed start on site in mid March, the Newhaven project team has managed to execute the two boiler pressure tests now two weeks ahead the contractual schedule. This second pressure test is a big client payment milestone and it was important to achieve it in November so that the payment can be made in 2010. The already tight schedule with a 11 month erection time for a two line plant was accompanied by the usual difficulties of late deliveries, interrupted working progress and unprepared subcontractors for English construction sites.
Our special thanks go to the Newhaven Site Team which did anything possible in the last month to achieve the milestones.

Duties : Project Management & Supervision of the refurbishment on an ACC (Air Cooled Condenser – under vacuum).
This project is the first of its kind (that we know of) ever to be completed on a GEA A-Framed vacuum condenser; it consisted of installing 8736 stainless steel repair sleeves by means of the Hydro Loc Expansion Process.
The sleeves have been installed in the condenser due to the corrosion of the existing condenser tubes.
Tasks involved producing the project engineering schedule and updating weekly, submitting weekly and monthly reports to the clients On-Site Engineering Consultants (SKM – Sinclair Knight Merz).
Produce the quality plan and arrange welding procedures in conjunction with the local welding inspectors so that the welding could be completed in line with the clients site procedures, all welding completed was with T.I.G manual welding process (2,112 mtrs of C/S & 1,344 mtrs of 0.5mm St/St to 25mm C/S).
Arrange meetings with local sub-contractors and place orders for the engineering work to be completed, control of all engineering staff on site.
Over see the hot commissioning by others and sign off all the QA documentation for the project ready for hand over to the client via approval from the clients On-Site Engineering Consultants (SKM – Sinclair Knight Merz).
