SAURASHTRA CHEMICALS LTD (Nirma Group) Porbandar, Gujarat

Mechanical Engineer- Projects Aug ’07- Till date

· Coordinated in the installation of CFBC 2x120 TPH steam generation and 30MW capacity Turbo Generator set.
· Responsibilities included Inter discipline co-ordination, planning and monitoring of activities and progress reporting of project.
· Coordinated with Consultants and Contractors for the design related queries and for achieving the schedule.
· Prepared detailed Project Schedule and monitored the progress
· Reviewed the weekly job progress for structural, equipment and piping fabrication and erection activities.
· Conducted routine Quality Checks that includes checking the vertical and horizontal alignment of structural members and jointly signed protocols.
· Participated in the fabrication and erection of tanks for DM water and Diesel.
· Erected and checked the alignment of rotary and stationary equipments.
· Monitored the Piping Fabrication and erection activities, checked the loops, prepared punch lists and coordinated in the mechanical completion of Piping. Piping included fabrication of 37000 Inch dia and 61000 Inch metre erection for metallic and non-metallic piping. · Coordinated with the Projects procurement team at head office and ensured timely availability of piping materials at site.

· Coordinated in the commissioning of Boiler and Turbine.
