Job Description:
* To render legal opinion. To supervise and recovery of dues against defaulting parties.
* To draft/vet various contracts/agreements.
* To negotiate few cases for out of court settlement.
* To supervise disciplinary proceedings. Responsible for entire legal matters of the Company and represent the company in legal cases.
* Supervise all litigation involving the company.
* Pre-empt legal action against the company by taking appropriate recourse.
* Vetting replies to show cause notices.
* Timely response to legal notices against the company.
* Participate in contract negotiations.
* Design standardized legally compliant contracts that also protect the commercial interests of the company.
* Vet contracts to ensure that they protect the commercial interests of the company and also meet all provisions of the law.
* Vet correspondence in cases of potential litigation.
* Defending cases filed against the company.
* Coordinate with other departments and advise them on legal issues.
* Coordinate with departments and other legal resources/experts to ensure that legal requirements including governmental regulations are complied with. Train other departments, etc.
