• Dealing with all legal issues / matters pertaining to all plants of sugar business (at present 03 plants).
• Advising management on all Legal issues, appraising on legal pronouncements & developments from time to time.
• Handling all litigation & non litigation matters.
• Drafting & vetting agreements, contracts, MOUs, tender documents, license agreements and other legal documentation & registration thereof.
• Preparing & arranging presentation of documentary & other evidence in legal proceedings.
• Documentation and statutory compliance of various laws, rules & regulations related to Labor Laws, PF Act, Central Excise Act, Tax Laws & Companies Act.
• Liaison with statutory & legal authorities.
• MIS
• Preparation of case files, collecting relevant evidence etc.
Desired Candidate Profile:
High achiever with 12 -15 years of post qualification experience in handling legal matters in any manufacturing industry. Preference will be given to the candidate having experience of Legal practice in any court of law and is well conversant with court proceedings.
