Job Description:
?? Supervise construction of hull and outfitting of vessel at shipyard (builder), on board and on the premises of subcontractors employed by the ship builder.
?? Ensure that the builder complies with the specifications, changes, revisions or modifications thereof approved by the owner or required by the classification society.
?? Carry out inspection and verification as far as practicable to assure that materials are in accordance with the specifications through mill sheets and pertinent certifications.
?? Carry out inspection of fabrication, painting and outfitting procedures to assure that the builder maintains adequate workmanship and acceptable shipbuilding practice for the work in accordance with the specifications.
?? Verify all non-destructive testing results to assure that the same is as required by the specifications and in accordance with class rule.
?? Maintain close liaison with the builder, class society representative and other interested regulatory bodies to ensure that problems associated with issuance of any required certification are specifically identified and resolved as early as possible.
?? Carry out any other instructions related to said project monitoring and control

Should have experience in overseeing/owners representation /quality control / inspection of ship construction / repair activities related to hull (structure,painting) or/ and outfitting(piping)/machinery equipment installation, commissioning,trials etc
