Job Description:
1. Incahrge of overall operations of Imports& local warehousing activities.
2.Operational Cost Controlling, focus on Warehousing Cost, Freight Cost,Import/Export/Licensing Cost & keeping Logistics GM updated on cost situation,co-ordination with customers, clearing agents.
3. Planning for stocking of fast and slow moving goods, considering the manufacturing schedule at the factory, arranging for payments and freight.
4. Well versed with the custom documentation and procedures.
5. Estimating the cost for Coastal Ship for their order, which includes purchase cost, calculation of custom duties and additional costs such as freight and insurance. And arranging for release of goods from customs.
Desired Candidate Profile:
1.Diploma in EXIM or Supply chain mangment is a must.
2.Experience in commercial/industrial establishment, preferably in Logistics and Import/Export function.
3.Knowledge of handling MIS, cost estimations, comparisons.
4.Sharing workload of additional activities being planned and implemented by junior staff.
5.Must have good contacts with customs & SVB.
