Designation Aerospace Stress Engineer

Job Description
To work as part of our expanding team we require Aerospace Stress Engineers with at least 3 year’s aerospace
or mechanical design experience and qualified to degree level in a related discipline.

Our aerospace project portfolio spans both aero structures and aero engine designs for some of the worlds leading civilian and government aircraft manufacturers and we welcome applications from engineers looking to
develop their skills.

Responsibilities
Working within our aerospace team you’ll provide high quality technical input to our aerospace projects, spanning
both aero structures and aero engines.
Operating at Project Engineer level, you will be expected to take ownership of technical tasks.
Ensure projects are delivered to Atkins and industry standards to cost and budget parameters.

Desired Profile
BTech/B.E. or MTech/M.E. Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering from a recognised university.
At least 3 years experience within an aerospace or mechanical environment in India or overseas.
In addition, expertise in at least one of the following would be an advantage:
Aerospace experience, covering aero structures and/or aero-engines.
Stress analysis (including Finite Element modelling)
Fatigue and Damage Tolerance
Composite Materials
Thermal analysis
You should ideally be conversant with industry analysis methods, standards and practices as well as the
latest analysis tools and applications.

Ability to adapt to different cultures and working environments to build rapport with customers
Experience of using written and spoken English within a business environment
The position is to be based in Bangalore
