    Job Description:
    An excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Generalist Assistant. Based in our Malad office Mumbai, reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager (UK and Asia). you will be responsible for the day to day HR needs within our growing team of 20 people. You will also be expected to carry out administrative/ accounting tasks. You will be reporting directly to the HR Manager in Europe.

    Desired Candidate Profile:
    - Be the first point of contact for staff members within Mumbai office for all HR issues
    - Participate in the recruitment life-cycle
    - Ensure that HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and being implemented
    - Monitor holidays and absences
    - Ensure that all administrative tasks are carried out within the deadlines
    - Prepare salary information for the accountant
    - Be the first point of contact for all communication between suppliers
    - Ensure that all bills are paid within deadlines

    The ideal candidate will have:
    - Masters Degree in Human Resources
    - At least two years experience in a similar role in an international environment
    - Knowledge of Indian employment law
    - Knowledge of Indian accounting law, specifically in relation to salary processing
    - Experience in writing and implementing HR policies
    - Excellent command over English
    - Assertive personality
    - Deadline conscious
    - Pro-active
    - Excellent communication and Team Working Skills
    - Working knowledge of Windows, MS Office, Internet, Sharepoint, CRM and Email, accounting software would be advantageous

    PROJECT DESCRIPTION
    The project dealt with the testing of OpenNet web application which deals with the loan origination programs for students. The application can handle both Government loans and private credit loans. The objective of the program was to test whether Lenders and Schools are allowed to View/Print Notice of Loan Guarantee Documents on OpenNet, with references to the corresponding requirement documentation. System, Integration testing was performed in conjunction with other Sallie Mae software and backend systems to ensure integrated functionality, particularly with those areas impacted by cross team change orders. . SLM Financial Corporation was found to serve education and financial markets by offering private credit loans to consumers. Education financing is now available for kindergarten through high school, professional and technical training, part-time education and distance learning.

The employee can view status using search engine. Search is provided on basis of claim type or date or by name. Once all approvers approve the leave then his leaves will be added to system.
