Job Description:
Job Summary:
Work closely with the CRM and Retail team to understand the demand of the market so that the right items are ordered for our customers. Keep a check on non-selling items and plan accordingly to move the same among the stores to have high movement of products off the shelf.
Job Responsibilities: - Plan to get the right stock and in sufficient quantity.
- Monitor the movement of stock within and/or among the stores.
- To foresee trends and demand considering the feedback and market search before placing a new order.
- General supervision of the product display at various stores.
Job Duties:
- Select items from the product catalogue and place order keeping the past sales, customer’s response and demand in mind.
- Reconfirm the order to the supplier after getting the feedback on the status of availability of the demanded items in case the supplier is unable to despatch the order as per request.
- To keep an eye on the sale of various products and take care of movement of stock among stores in all locations considering what sells where.
- Prepare statistical data on the movement of stock as and when required.
- Collaborate with the Retail and CRM team in order to understand more about the taste and liking of existing customers so that future orders can be placed adequately.
- Store replenishment
- Keep a watch on expiry Dates
- Plan product promotion/Sales
- Prepare various reports like- Fast /slow moving product, product life cycle etc.
