    Job Description:
    PRIMARY FUNCTION

    At the Sr. Executive level
    Under the direction of the Target India SAI Team Lead, perform the initial daily stores’ sales auditing “Error Correction” & “Over/Short research” processes. Includes correction reporting, cash & check over/short research, communication, Missing sales/Advance requests trans rekeys and timely resolution of POS transactions for assigned Target stores. Ensures the integrity of the Point Of Sale feeds to the Sales Audit System. This information may affect the accuracy of sales, credit, gift cards, stock ledger, inventory and 861 accounting entries and reporting. Support the HQ Sales Audit team by researching and re-ringing transactions to correct store off-lines, Working on “Green Flag stores” when necessary.
    PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    - Perform the daily store error correction & Over/Short research audit function for assigned locations
    - Balance terminals using standard auditing procedures and independent judgment regarding:
    - Systems – Sales Audit, Electronic Journal, Host Reports, Web based reports, Credit and DAS
    - Adding offline transactions/ Re-rings
    - Ensure that all transactions are accounted for
    - Process on-line corrections
    - Identify missing transactions and re-ring if necessary
    - Process and balance POS terminal totals according to established procedures
    - Understand & owning 861 accounting entries
    - Analyze 861 reports & communicate with stores/HQ to ensure the departmental goals are met.
    - Assist with the training & mentoring of new Sales Audit team members in error correction & over/short teams.
    - Share best practices with error correction team members in the form of QLT engagement meetings, any fraud trends (Seasonal or regular)
    - Analyze 861 reports & communicate with stores/HQ to ensure the departmental goals are met.
    - Own CART cases, Open cases, communicate to stores and analyze shortage trends if required.
    - Analyze current trends & initiate process improvement projects in liaison with HQ team.
    - Responsible for ensuring self development through education, networking, training and related work experiences to strengthen capabilities and drive performance improvements.
    - Participate in specially assigned activities as directed by the Sales Audit Team Lead, and contribute knowledgeable suggestions and recommendations on improving operations
