Job Description:
To review, plan and venturing in to new mission, PCI is interested in hiring expertise for the following tasks / Missions / Projects for PATHWAY and SURE START.

1. Documenting PCI programs and the case studies from Pathway program and provide technical consultancy to the PCI team
2. Do a need assessment on HIV Care, Support and Treatment (CST) services in North east regions of the country
3. Providing technical support to draft quality improvement verification and quality improvement implementation checklists and other operational documents
4. To provide technical support on Monitoring and Evaluation

PATHWAY+ (Positive Action for the Health of People Living with HIV/AIDS) program initiated by PCI (September 1, 2004-August 31, 2009) was designed to implement integrated community and home-based care (CHBC) and support and HIV prevention in three sites in the high prevalence states of Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and northeastern states of Manipur and Nagaland.

SURE START is an initiative by PATH (Programme for Appropriate Technology for Health) in partnership with PCI is implemented at Pune to catalyze sustainable improvements in maternal and new born health through effective community action among slum communities.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Duration:

These consultancies would range from 5 days to 30 days during the period from 5th of February 2009 to 31st of August 2009 and the working area will be in Nagaland, Pune and / or Delhi.

DETAILS OF WORK EXPERIENCE AS ON DATE :-
1. As per letter no. 279, dated 05/05/2006 of District Malaria Officer, West Singhbhum,Completed work in Block Level for control of Malaria and also in the remote dense forest villages of Saranda. As a result, a vast survey of the areas sprayed and made malaria free by the trust under my guidance.
2. As per letter no. 507, dated. 23/08/2006 of District Malaria Officer West Singhbhum,the trust has distributed 2000 numbers of mosquito nets in 17 remote villages of Jagannathpur Block and a vast door to door survey of BPL card holders has been identified by the trust with the help of the DMO. West Singhbhum and guidance of the Deputy Commissioner.
3. As per letter no. 437, of the District Malaria Officer , West Singhbhum, in consent of the Deputy Commissioner, West Singhbhum, Chaibasa, for survey and arrange Health Camps as well as spray DDT in the red alert areas like: Bitkelsoi, Baliba, Moram, Karampada, Bhangaon, & nearby remote dense forest areas and villages of Saranda zone under.
4. As per work order no. 1126, dated: 27/07/07 of the Deputy Commissioner West Singhbhum, Chaibasa, the Trust headed by me has been bestowed the work to complete the Social Audit of the schemes completed in the Block Jagannathpur under NREGA.
5. As per work order no.1680, dated: 27/11/2007 of the Deputy Commissioner East Singhbhum, Jamshedpur, the Trust headed by me has been bestowed the work to complete the Social Audit of the schemes completed in the Blocks “Patamda & Ghatshila” under NREGA.
6. As per work order no. 421, dated: 21/08/2008 of the Deputy commissioner Saraikella-Kharsawan, the Trust headed by me has been bestowed the work to complete the Social Audit of the schemes completed in the Block Nimdih under NREGA.
7. Again, as per work order no. 457, dated: 24/07/2009 of the Deputy Commissioner Saraikella-Kharsawan, the Trust headed by me has been bestowed the work to complete the Social Audit of the schemes completed in the Block Nimdih under NREGA.
8. As per work order No. 698, dated: 17/06/2009 of Deputy commissioner, West Singhbhum, Chaibasa, the trust is in MOU with the District for implementation of the IVPP programme brought by the District Head himself.
