Job Description:
To review, plan and venturing in to new mission, PCI is interested in hiring expertise for the following tasks / Missions / Projects for PATHWAY and SURE START.
1. Documenting PCI programs and the case studies from Pathway program and provide technical consultancy to the PCI team
2. Do a need assessment on HIV Care, Support and Treatment (CST) services in North east regions of the country
3. Providing technical support to draft quality improvement verification and quality improvement implementation checklists and other operational documents
4. To provide technical support on Monitoring and Evaluation

PATHWAY+ (Positive Action for the Health of People Living with HIV/AIDS) program initiated by PCI (September 1, 2004-August 31, 2009) was designed to implement integrated community and home-based care (CHBC) and support and HIV prevention in three sites in the high prevalence states of Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and northeastern states of Manipur and Nagaland.
SURE START is an initiative by PATH (Programme for Appropriate Technology for Health) in partnership with PCI is implemented at Pune to catalyze sustainable improvements in maternal and new born health through effective community action among slum communities.
Desired Candidate Profile:

These consultancies would range from 5 days to 30 days during the period from 5th of February 2009 to 31st of August 2009 and the working area will be in Nagaland, Pune and / or Delhi.
