Essential Function
The Worldwide Coding Consultant's essential function is to assume responsibility for Worldwide Clinical Coding activities. To co-ordinate activities of those taking the roles of Site Coding Consultant, aswell as Dedicated Coder and Study Coder. General responsibilities include working directly with the Directors of Data Management (DM) and all other appropriate departmental management as a Consultant for Clinical Coding activities. Oversee the execution and productivity of world wide clinical coding activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory and PAREXEL quality and efficiency standards. Provide input to continuous productivity improvement. Ensure proactive planning takes place and provide issue resolution for the Group.

Key Accountabilities
'Maintain a positive, results orientated work environment, building partnerships and modeling teamwork, communicating with the team in an open, balanced and objective manner
'To work under supervision, but taking direction from Data Management Directors
'Provide input into improving Data Management Standards and participation in continuous process / productivity improvement, including cross functional initiatives
'To work with all relevant department to ensure Clinical Coding Activities are aligned with strategy within their own departments e.g. Medical Coding Activities, IS Biometric Services Coding support
'Performs Clinical Coders function to meet / exceed interval metrics, client satisfaction.

Education
'Bachelor's degree or higher and / or other medical qualification or relevant Data Management or managerial experience

Minimum Relevant Work Experience: 2Yrs
'Likely to have previous relevant work experience within Clinical Coding and Data Management including experience in managing a team of coders or Data Managers.
