Job Description:
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job purpose

The HSE Coordinator is responsible for the correct implementation of the HSSE work scope related to Dubai LNG Project.

The key responsibilities of the HSE Coordinator of the Dubai LNG project are:
1. Assure correct implementation of the HSSE plan during the execution of the project.

2.An active contribution to the realization of the project HSSE objectives.

3. Provide HSSE support to the Project Team.

4. Focal point for HSSE aspects for the construction and implementation phase in the area of his responsibility.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Support and control the correct implementation of the Project HSSE plan.

2. The primary focus shall be on the worker safety and health of Contractors as it related to safe working practices (PPE, workers camp, training).

3. Support the correct implementation of the Environmental, Social and Health Impact Assessment (ESHIA) and Health Management (including the Health Management Standards)

4. Assure the correct implementation of the Permit To Work system.

5. Participate and contribute to Risk Workshops, Job Hazard Analyses, Toolbox meetings, Work Statements and other safety meetings with Contractors.

6. Support the correct implementation of the (Medical) Emergency Response (MER) plan.

7. In consultation with the Construction Contractor HSSE lead, assist in preparing and implement a Behavioral Safety Program, like Safety Awareness Training and Incentive plan.

8. Participate in near miss and safety incident investigation as per the Investigation Procedure and assure the follow up of the recommendations.

Desired Candidate Profile:
TECHNICAL SKILLS:

1. HSE professional, with a fair understanding of the oil and gas business based on onshore & offshore experience in projects and/or operations.

2. A minimum of 3 to 4 years experiences in managing HSSE in the line with this type of Project.

3. Knowledge of relevant HSSE documents / programs, like ESHIA, FTW, PTW, HEMP, MER, SP

4. Strong safety and environmental belief.

5. The ability to identify and intervene in problem areas, well developed problem solving skills

6. Be able to participate on HSSE audits.

7. Must be familiar with common safety standards, like scaffolding, working on or over water, confined space etc.

8. Must possess UAE driving license
