As Project Head Responsibilities and work done
1. I have done the calculation of the entire reserve quantity of Coal and OB, from the bore hole data and also calculations of Mineable reserve, stripping ratio of every meter depth, economic and non economic zone determinations with current index price of coal etc.,
2. From the Geology and Geomorphologic data, determination of the methodology of suitable mining was done by me. e.g. SME or CME, if CME
a. Shovel – dumper combination
b. Dragline - shovel - dumper combination
c. Backhoe - shovel – dumper combination etc.,
3. From the Ground pressure and Geo Physical data, I planned and purchased suitable machinery - total Main equipment and ancillary equipment etc.,
4. In the planning side, successful Mine design, road design - hauling, access and pit road. Dumping location for Top soil, OB and stock pile location for Coal. Life of mine, reclamation programme etc., have been carried out by me.
5. I was also involved in the identification of the suitable crusher for coal - either mobile crusher or fixed crusher with percentage of dust etc., from the given chemical analysis data.
6. I am also familiar with other mining activities like, analyzing the Meteorological data like rain fall data, and hydro geological and Geo-hydrological data, to identify the suitable pump for GWC and SMC control etc.,
7. I was also successful in the Total cost estimation of the mines from the first year. Estimation of Diesel, manpower, salary, local rehabilitation programme etc., providing instant contingency plan etc., are some of the valuable experiences I learnt over the past years.
8. I have successfully scheduled the timing for the project i.e, from the starting stage to the coal recovery stage.
9. Other administrative responsibilities like processing for Initial license, Forest License etc., and processing of nearly 13 licenses required to start the mine- some of the license apply at the time of running of mine.,
I have also co-ordinate with other consultancies in the projects like below,
1. Batham Hari river project – trenching the river, local socialization project for river bank villages.
2. Barge capacity of 800T to 1200 T, River depth to be made up to 8 m, existing depth 3-4 m only
3. Bathymetry work about 135 kms length along the river – done by Nether Land consultancy.
