Job Description:
Getit is looking for an energetic and self-motivated professional to take charge of the training function related to its voice service. The person should be ambitious with strong intellect and business acumen. The ideal candidate will have about five year’s relevant work experience of which a significant amount should be in training of delivery personnel across the first and second levels of a call center; international as well as domestic call center experience being preferred. However, the most recent experience should be with a domestic call center and the person should have exposure to training at a National level across the geographies in India.
Delivery of services will be achieved using vendors and the position has to work closely with the vendor training organization to ensure that service delivery levels are of a very high standard and is the key differentiate against competition.
Getit is looking for an accomplished individual who is good at collaborative working and building personal relationship, thinks innovatively and is able to take initiative. Customer focus and managing vendor training organisations are two critical competencies for this role.
Responsibilities
Ø Understanding and setting up a training program and a train the trainer program for the voice services.
Ø Working closely with vendor training organizations to train the first set of agents directly and then monitor subsequent batches and ongoing training.
Ø Ability to look at operational matrices, isolate specific training needs and help vendors to develop packages that address these needs.
Ø Manage the relationships with vendor training organisations.
Ø Help in motivating and developing a high performing team.
Ø Ensure conformance by vendors to training calendars and schedules.
Ø Conduct regular audits on vendor trainers’ performance and capability and take necessary proactive steps to remedy any shortcomings.
Ø Share the common goals of proactively reducing costs while improving delivery quality and mould training programs to deliver these.
Ø Though the position is based in Delhi, the person will have to travel extensively.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Ø MBA would be preferred.
Ø 8-15 years’ experience with 5 years in a National training role with a call centre.
Ø Thorough understanding of the specific training needs of the call centre industry both inbound and outbound.
Ø Demonstrated ability and Maturity to handle big groups in classrooms.
Ø Should have run train the trainer programs.
Ø Ability to work closely with operations teams lead by examples.
Ø Should be a Team player who can work towards a shared vision.
Ø Self starter with high levels of energy and conflict resolution skills
Ø Good people skills
Ø Should have a Positive attitude and an ability to motivate
