PIPING SPECIALIST - STRESS ANALYSIS

The incumbent would be required to lead a group of specialist engineers involved in piping stress analysis including support engineering. Mechanical Engineers with minimum 15 years of experience in stress analysis using CAESAR II or similar software can apply for this position.

Hands-on experience in analysis of critical piping systems of pumps, turbines, compressors and other high pressure / temperature piping arrangement including jacketed piping systems is essential.

Experience in dynamic analysis of piping systems using response spectrum method will have an added advantage.

Candidate should be conversant with all stress analysis requirements of international piping codes as well as various support arrangements including special supports / sway bracings / tie rods / bellows / spring supports etc.


1. Candidates in the engineering consultancy industry or in the technical services or projects department of the Petrochemical / Chemical / Fertilizer / Power industry may apply. (Candidates purely with operations background need not apply).

2. Depending on experience and expertise, selected candidate will be designated as Manager / Senior Manager / Deputy General Manager.

Client : ESSAR INDIA Limited, Thermal Power Plant at Singarouli, M.P.
Description
- Site Visit, Data collection and Network analysis for Flow balancing of water pipeline coming from Dam at Pitapalli and going to reservoir at Independent (600MWex2) and Captive Power Plant (135MWex9).

- Monitering the Hydro testing & radiographic testing , ultrasonic testing for pipe lines.conducting bend testing,tensile testing for work pieces.maintain documentation,manipullating welding test for welders,if any failures will be occurred re-conduct the test.preparation of(welding procedure specication) wps and welding procedure qualification record(wpqr)

- Act as a Project Engineer, Man-hour estimation, LCE distribution, Job forecast and overall progress percentage evaluation.
- Responsible for smooth running and scheduled completion of the Project.
