We have an Offshore project. for that we need Senior Systems Analyst/Programmer who has to work in our Offshore center.

Details of the requirement:
Position: Senior Systems Analyst/Programmer
Start date would be 12th May, 2008.
It would be more than one year project.

Position Summary:
Under very limited supervision, perform assignments in support of the Company's Information processing needs by applying technical competency in Information Systems tools, techniques and procedures. Prepare detailed specifications, design, code, test, debug, and implement program changes while developing competency in complex project management or technical knowledge of business support areas.

The nature of assignments will be supporting the Carrier Access Billing System (CABS) and TOLL applications in the IBM mainframe environment.

Qualifications:
Min. 6 years of experience in COBOL/CICS, JCL, FOCUS, and Web-Focus

Minimum:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, CIS, or equivalent education and experience such as a certificate in Data Processing plus one year programming/analysis experience.
2. Work experience with at least one major business computer application.
3. Experience using structured specification coding and documentation techniques.
4. Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
5. Experience working with COBOL/CICS, JCL, FOCUS, and Web-Focus.
6. Experience working with IBM mainframe in an MVS environment.

Preferred:
1. Four years progressive, professional level data processing experience.
2. Data processing experience in the telecommunications industry.
3. Experience working with Cold-Fusion, Oracle, SQL, PERL.
Responsibilities:
1. Research, document and analyze business needs and translate them to a system design by defining the business partner's objective and requirements.
2. Provide for successful project completion by scheduling, performing and coordinating the coding, testing, installation and maintenance of computer programs within project estimates.
3. Keep abreast of technological developments, new products and services in the field in order to effectively participate in the development of business applications systems.
4. Provide ongoing support and training to business partners to ensure the effective and efficient utilization of the system.
5. Serve as a technical resource and provide functional guidance to project team members.
6. Resolve applications development and maintenance technical problems as assigned.
7. Provide on-call support as scheduled.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Overview – A AAEP is a program which automatically assigns the practical examiners and students for the practical exams. Here a database of examiners and the subjects they are specialized in and the subjects they are handling. The commencement date of the exam is given as the input along with the number of students. By considering all the constraints the program will automatically assign the internal and external examiners. This project basically an project which helps the educational institutions and universities in assigning the examiners.

#3 : ” PC-MAN Game” - 6th Sem PROJECT
Overview – PC-MAN Game is a mini project that allows the programmer to play the game as that of the original game. Here the graphical packages are used and the game is made.

#4 : ” Lexical Analyzer” - 5th Sem PROJECT
Overview – Lexical Analyzer is a mini project that allows the programmer to analyze the input program and identify the tokens, identifiers along with their token number and display it.

#5 : ” SNAKE game” - 2nd Sem PROJECT, MTech
Overview – Snake is a mini project implemented in java n android OS that allows the programmer to play the snake game.Snake is a game usually found in mobile phones. Here the snake grows as it eats the fruits and the speed increases as along. When the player touches the boundary the game is over.
