Designation Business Information Security Officer (Manager)

Job Description
Role Objective To manage the Information Security function for Citigroup Global Services Ltd. (CGSL) and ensure that Information Security is integrated into the day-to-day operations of the Strategic Business Units (SBUs) and Support Units.
Position Description The ‘Information security’ function is a part of the Management Assurance Services (MAS) unit in CGSL, whose overall vision is to strive to ensure that all units at CGSL manage Operational Risk efficiently in a rapidly ramping up environment. Today information security is a key function in any outsourcing environment and Clients need to have a comfort level on controls implemented by service providers before sensitive customer data can be outsourced to them.

The Infosec function ensures that the Information Security policy and standards are implemented in all the units across CGSL. This role gives a perspective of all the operational units in the company and provides an opportunity to interact with various people at all levels in the organization.

The challenge is to be a part of the team, and help the unit improve its Infosec perspective with respect to Control & Compliance environment. This is achieved by quickly understanding the key processes, identifying the risks and controls, evaluating the residual risk and suggesting incremental controls, where necessary.
Key Responsibilities - Implement the Citigroup Information Security Policy and Standards across the organization
- Define and roll out level 3 procedures on Information Security
- Perform IS reviews of business and support units along with the internal QA team
- Manage the training and awareness program for employees and contract staff
- Conduct internal audits on Information Security in coordination with the internal audit team
- Manage ISO 27001: 2005 audits and certification program
- Manage external audits by coordinating with the regulators and external auditors
- Ensure that all IS audits receive a Satisfactory rating
- Assist business units in conducting risk assessments
- Manage the user entitlement review process
- Review and approve internal applications and end user computing tools
- Manage the security incident process
- Work with CGSL Technology application team and the Technology Infrastructure Infosec Officer to ensure compliance with the IS policies and standards
- Conduct IS Assessments of third parties to whom confidential information has been outsourced
- Ensuring compliance to cross border data protection requirements
