Designation Physical Design - Staff Engineer
Job Description
the candidate will lead and participate in the physical design implementation (RTL2GDSII) of large ASIC designs in 65 and 90 nm technologies, to ensure the design goals i.e, performance/power, and reliability (signal integrity)constraints are met. Candidate will actively participate (hands-on) and provide technical guidance to the junior members in the team, in one or more of the following design tasks : Logic Synthesis, Floor Planning, Power Planning, Place & Route, Physical Synthesis and optimization, Static timing analysis, Clock tree insertion/analysis, power and xtalk analysis, physical design verification (DRC/ERC/LVS) Requirements: Interested candidates should have at least 8-10 years of relevant experience in physical design. Proven record of design tapouts in 90 nm/ 65 nm technologies and hands-on experience with EDA tools in physical design & analysis (Cadence, Synopsys or Magma)is a must. Experience in timing closure, low power design methodologies and signal integrity is a big plus. Candidate should also possess excellent communication skills to interact with external customers and other organizations in LSI.
Desired Profile
B.S in EE or ECE or Computer Engineering. 8+ years of relevent experience in VLSI/ ASIC physical design.
