Systems Consultant (Applications & Database Management)
(Based in Bangalore)

This a pre-sales technical consulting role. This Systems Consultant is to communicate & demonstrate the value of Quest technologies, in the areas of Applications and Database Management, to customers and business partners. In particular, the Systems Consultant’s key mission is to work with Account Managers & Sales Managers and support them to compete & win business for Quest products in the above mentioned areas.

Key Responsibilities:
- To provide pre-sales technical engagements for Quest Software’s Application and Database Management products
- To assist Account Managers to identify customer requirements and to participate in technical discussions on Quest’s value propositions
- To conduct demonstrations and product walkthrough to customers’ DBA personnel and IT Managers
- To conduct product training and knowledge transfer to customers and channel partners
- To assist customers periodically with expertise in the areas of Applications & DB Management
- To build up and maintain relationship with the technical decision maker on the customer side
- Be the ‘Thought Leader’ for these areas within the company

Requirements:
- B.A./B.S. in CS/CIS or higher qualifications
- 8 to 12 years of relevant technical experience. Experience in a pre-sales role will be a strong added qualification
- Extensive skills and experiences with Applications & Database Management tools
- Excellent presentation, business, analytical, problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to successfully support procurement activities: RFP responses, trial execution and installation
- Good knowledge with various Unix and Windows OS
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
